根據中國國家标準《建設用砂》（GB/T 14684-2022），機制砂的顆粒級配、石粉含量和壓碎指标等參數均有嚴格規定，例如Ⅰ類砂的含泥量需低于1.0%，壓碎值需小于20%。美國材料與試驗協會（ASTM C33）同樣制定了混凝土用機制砂的顆粒形狀與耐久性标準。
